These mandrels line is
specifically suitable for heavy
honing works in which a very
big stock removal together
with restrict time are required:
in fact HY are particularly used
in production cycles. They
guarantee big resistence and
compactedness respect to
high mechanical stress and
they permit to use high cutting
pressures on the abrasives
stones during the honing
operation.
However, HY remain mandrel
quite handy and very simple to
use; moreover, thanks to their
quick change of stone-holder
supports, you can modify the
nominal diameters range. (see
the table below)
